I know Mom, he just got his hair cut....
Crazy Dayz
in. She did pretty good.
I gave Lane a hair cut for his part in the wedding
and they were showing me how silly they are.
Lane trying to scare me with his growl.
Alyse was suppose to be taking a nap and this is
what I found when I went to check on her...Too Cute.
These cute little feet were sticking out of a pile of
pillows and blankets. Lane calls it his tent... It is so
funny, he slept in there for his nap...
This has been a crazy crazy couple of weeks... I think that everday has had something planned or something to do. I just can't believe how fast the last couple of weeks have gone by.... The kids have been sick, vomitting, so keeping a close eye on them. Then yesterday Alyse decided to stick a small green ball like bee bee up her nose. Yes I said up her nose. I tried to have her blow it out herself, I put nasal spray in her nose to hopefully flush it out, I even tried to do mouth to mouth and I blew in her mouth to try to blow it out... Nothing worked, it is really stuck in there... We went to see Dr. Steffen and he tried but Alyse wouldn't stay still enough so he sending us on to the ear nose and throat Doctor. I can't believe this. It is kind of funny. I had a fall break from school so I didn't have class on Monday or Tuesday, I thought that I was going to get so much done... I didn't realize how much there was to do... I have two test this week on top of trying to get a green ball out of Alyse's nose. Then today while I was going to the bathroom, I looked over at the sink and there was a snake, YES A SNAKE......I couldn't believe it a snake in my house..... Ewhh I am so grossed out by it... Don't worry I yelled for Tony and he took it out of the house..I don't know what I would of done if he wasn't home...
Over the weekend we went to the Apple Blossom Farm, over in Peoria.. We had such a great time... The kids got to play on this fun home made play ground... We ate great food. We had such great weather...Our little family needed a fun family day. Then later that saturday, Alyse and I went out to eat with some girlfriends of mine, and afterwards we painted pottery at Fired Up... It was great.
I already started my Christmas shopping.... Hard to believe, but it's almost November and I want all my shopping done before December so I can relax and enjoy the season.... I will try to keep my pictures better updated. Hope you all well and to Michelle hang in there Sister, we are almost done with the first sem. I think of you often...Love you babe... To everyone else that reads this, know that if I haven't gotten to see or talk to you lately, I do miss you and love you all very much. Please keep me and my family in your prayers. May God Bless You All......

Ok so it's been awhile since my last post... Life has been keeping me busy, busy. To start off Tony and I had a weekend getaway that was very needed. We got to relax and just finally get to catch up. On the last day of our weekend Tim and Betty Kaupp joined us to play golf down in Pana. It was so nice to get to talk with them, we are truely blessed to have great friends. We had great talks and awesome golf. Lotsa fun.. My Wonderful Mother was able to come home from Texas where her and my Dad just moved, so she could watch the kids for us, it was great... The kids were so sad to see her leave. Alyse wouldn't go to bed she kept saying,"I lost my grandma" and when I tried to lay with her she got mad and told me, "That's Grandma's pillow." We had a few days of adjusting back to real life without Grandma.
I have been busy with school and get paperwork done, we started clinical a couple weeks ago and I am really enjoying my time at the nursing home. The residents are so nice and love having us there. All of my classmates are wonderful people, we all work together and help one another. It is so nice.
I would like to ask for a prayer request, I had a very stressful experience at work and I am still working through it, so if you could pray for me..
On a brighter note, Alyse is potty trained, she did it all by herself... She is sooooo independent. Even when she should have help she has to try on her own first, sometimes she asked me,"Mommy could you please leave?" It is so funny then she'll tell me that she is stinky.. So I leave trying not to laugh. Tony has broken our horse, we, the whole family has now gotten a turn to ride her, saddled and bareback... She is so gentle... It is so fun to have a horse again. I love having her at our house...
School is already at the midterm.. I can't believe it.. It is going by fast... Ok well I will post you some pictures and then I need to do some homework...... Always...
May God Bless You and Keep You.... Have a great week...

Who Said Stoma?
So today in Nursing School we got to practice putting on a colostomy bag, on ourselves, with fake poop in them. We get to wear them for twenty-four hours... It isn't hard, just wierd. I showed my kids and Lane told me to take it off. He said that he didn't like it. Alyse has told everyone all night not to touch my poopy... It was really funny. She also says that it is stinky, which it isn't... So funny. My brain is so tired that I can't think of anything else to tell you, oh just now something hit me, Alyse has worn big girl underpants and kept them dry two days in a row now..I also follow after my sister and love to take sleeping baby pictures..... So here are a few pictures... Have a great rest of your week...

First Shots
Yesterday I recieved two shots from my lab partner and then I gave her two shots... One Sub-Q and one IM injection. It was so much fun... It felt like real nursing stuff, drawing meds out of vials and working with the neddles ans syringes. Makes it seem more real... I included my battle wounds.. Hope you enjoy.... We are also busy in school with test, every class is now having an exam..... So much work this work... Life has just been so busy, every weekend has something it seems for the rest of this month and next. Tony is working with our horse Bella and Lane has been riding her. Today I had to go to my first ever deposition... I know I sound so important... I witnesses an accident last year and today I had to testify to what happened. I thought that it would take an hour and it would just be a few questions, nope it was so hard.. It took two and half hours... I had to answer every question under the sun.... I think even what color was the sun the day of the accident... It was horrible... I never thought it would be that bad... My kiddos are good... Today Alyse wore big girl underwear all day at the babysitter and had no accidents, I bring her home and she pees her panties twice... I don't understand. I wish she would just be potty trained already so I could stop buying diapers... Well I need to go to bed, I am suffering from a slight cold/sinus infection thing going on, so I am trying to get good sleep, plus I have class at eight am. I just can't believe it 4 weeks of nursing school DONE.............. Unbelievable. Have a great weekend everyone.

Breaking Bella
So this was a fun weekend... We first had a surprise birthday party for Tony, he's the big 30... Wow!! It was fun, great turn out of friends and family... We all went to Alexander's Steak House. He knew something was up, but didn't know who or how many people would be there. The other big task for this weekend was working with our horse... We just got a round pen last week so we've been working her and tonight Tony got her saddled... Lane our little cowboy was the first to ride her, then our sweet cowgirl said, "Me too, me too" so she rode second... We were impressed with our pretty horse. This Sunday's sermon was very touching. It was such a wonderful weekend of family time, beautiful weather, and good times with friends.... I thanked God many times. As the sun was setting tonight, Lane looked at me and said, " Mommy, is that a pretty picture that God did?" I got teared up and said, "Yes it is, and we should thank Him" It was a touching moment. I should say that at the beginning of the summer I made a comment to Lane about the beauty God gives us with the sunsets, I just didn't think that he was listening. I hope everyone has a great week, May God Bless You All....
